Accessibility
Cedar & Saffron Market aims to make its public website understandable and operable across common screen sizes and input methods. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, and feedback about a barrier is welcome.
Measures in this release
The website uses semantic headings and landmarks, one main heading per page, labeled form controls, descriptive alternative text, visible keyboard focus, a skip link, live form-status announcements, color contrast chosen for readability, reduced-motion support, and a keyboard-operable mobile menu that exposes the same links in the same order as desktop navigation.
Pages use the browser’s normal document scroll, flexible containers, responsive image sources, and layouts designed for desktop, tablet, and mobile widths. Text can reflow without trapping the whole site in an internal scrolling panel.
Forms
Required fields are identified in text and markup. Server errors do not present as success. If the Contact or Request Service form creates a barrier, use the Contact page when possible and begin the message with “accessibility.” Describe the page, field, control, device, browser, and assistive technology involved.
Alternative access
You may request website information in an alternative format through the Contact form. The website does not publish an unverified phone number or address as an accessibility contact. A direct response can provide current options.
Known limits
Generated illustrative photography is not essential to completing the forms; text alternatives describe its purpose. Some behavior can also depend on the user’s browser, assistive technology, network, and hosting service. If something does not work, the specific context helps identify the problem.
Feedback
Accessibility feedback is reviewed as part of website maintenance. The goal is to understand the barrier, provide a reasonable alternative where possible, and improve the public experience.
